This is Manuel. He was working as a driver in the southern city of Blantyre when he became so ill that he could no longer walk unaided. He came back to Salima to his family because he needed to be cared for.
Salima District Hospital referred Manuel to Ndi Moyo. In our palliative care programme Manuel received 2 courses of vincristine chemotherapy and morphine for his pain.
Now Manuel has no pain and a full-time job working as an ambulance driver for Ndi Moyo.
“If there was no Ndi Moyo, maybe by this time I would die. I am very thankful to Ndi Moyo for what they do for me”
